Yes! You can reserve a table by calling them or simply go up to them in person to reserve a table especially if you come in with big groups of more then 5 people
It wasn't on the menu.
I've never asked, but definitely give them a call!
Yes they do
Food was great! Plenty of it. The small portion like a big portion.
This place is awesome make sure you have a big appetite because the servings are huge
Service is the best. Coffee is amazing. Food is so good.
Probably the best cafe in Gresham featuring the fastest service in a really packed Restaurant! Wait time for food is literally less then 25 minutes, I was just amazed! and employees were so Nice, they even care for their costumers because they check on their costumers all the time with offers of more coffee, water, etc. portions are gigantic and gets really packed in the mornings that you may have to wait awhile but it’s all worth it because the breakfast was out of this world! Stunning! I would totally come again and again and again with friends and family. Be sure to come try it and invite your friend and family to come get breakfast.
Outstanding! Great service, great food, clean establishment! Will definitely return when I am in Portland!
Food is great and the people re super nice
Best breakfast in Gresham!! Huge plates a lot of food but still super quality. The bacon and the biscuits with gravy are my go to!!
This is a establishment that has been in GRESHAM for years. It's always packed I will say that . I found the service great .. the food not so great very average if not below . I had the great chicken fried steak. 17 bucks for the full big daddy portion. I asked for the blond hashbrowns I hot it . Perfect! The steak not good I can't put my finger on it but it just wasn't that great. Kinda pricey for the below average food . I'll try it again but not doing chicken fried steak.
Really gone down hill. The last couple of times I've been in it was awful. Got the ham steak and it was just a blob of fat and grissle. The eggs are obviously powered, and burnt. The hash browns had a metallic taste. Yuk. Won't be going back.
Food was good, nice portions, normal prices but the atmosphere is cold.Needs warmth.I felt a little uncomfortable there.Don't think we will be back.
Best food in town! Excellent service and great homie atmosphere. Huge Portions! Not an exaggeration. Sharing is encouraged as everything is amazing
Quaint little breakfast and burger joint. Definitely a comfort food place; the portions are hardy and the food is definitely better than the rest of the breakfast joints in Gresham. Staff is incredibly friendly and quick to provide service. Do you like biscuits and gravy? Give the Haystack a try, you won't be disappointed!
Great food, fast service, very nice staff. 12 egg omelettes are massive!
Never been disappointed with the service there. Food is always better than expected. And waiters are always helpful and friendly. Never leave your cup dry! Wonderful place to eat always will be!
Great service! Process are low and you get a lot of food! Definitely could share a meal with someone. They are not open all day so check the hours.
Wow! The plates are large and they don't skimp on food. Not only is the food plentiful, but it is as good as it is big. I had the Cowboy burger, which was large and delicious. My wife had the full sized Sherie's Special (Chicken Fried Steak). My friend had the Omlette, which was also the size of the plate. The food was great and so was the ambiance. Thank you to our waitress for her amazing service. Great place.
Amazing staff. Coffee cup never goes dry. Prompt food and service. Love this place!!
Go hungry, or go home! Enormous portions of comfort food. Great breakfasts, very good burgers and sandwiches, reasonable prices, good service (even when they're busy). Don't expect anything dainty or "light" It's a Gresham institution.
My favorite place. The food is Amazing . 😊
Pros: Service is very good. Young ladies are very kind and attentive. Tons of food! YOU WON'T LEAVE HUNGRY! Prices are VERY Reasonable!Cons: The male lead waiter talks super fast and doesn't listen so you will end up having to repeat the order so he gets it right. I had the Chicken Fajita omelet. Lots of veggies and very large but extremely bland. The salsa is out of a jar and made the omelet worse.
I love this place! A great ma and pa type breakfast spot with very decent portions and a super friendly staff. I highly suggest McCrea's!!
Food was great and drinks were never even close to empty. Great service.
Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious 😋
This is my favorite breakfast joint these days. Real cute little dark haired waitress. And good food.
Are you looking for an amazing breakfast that the price matches the amount of food you get? This is the place. The food is amazing the customer service is fantastic and friendly. Very attentive. The quality of the food is top notch.
I love this place good food and great service
Pretty decent food, was told to go there for oversized dishes of food. Husband eats tons for breakfast and was a little disappointed. Pretty expensive for what we got, I first ordered eggs o er medium, had to send them back as the whites we're way too runny, wound up ordering scrambled, some places just can't seem to make eggs o er medium, but the staff was nice. Took a long time to get food and it wasn't that busy. Might be back if we are out that way since we made the long drive there based on others recommendation
Great food, great service, with a smile..
I have driven by this place lots of times and this place is always busy so when my husband asked where do you want to go I suggested this place. What I wasn't aware of is how expensive it was. I got the steak and swiss omelet for $16.95. It was listed as half omelet. It had onions green bell peppers, steak, swiss cheese. Also had hash brown and toast. When I was thinking steak I was thinking thick pieces of steak meat not paper thin steak meat. The omlette was good. My husband also had a omelette he had sausage, mushroom, onion. He got a half omelet for $13.95. He also got a side of gravy that had no taste to it. So that was disappointing to him as he loves gravy. And he got a biscuit. The carpet was old and smelled. It was very noticeable to us. It smelled like musky old carpet. And ruined our dining experience. So for 2 reasons we are not going back the carpet and the high prices.
This place has huge plates if food and the to go orders are just as big and it is delicious! Amazing food and awesome staff they are so friendly there!!!
I miss their Eggs Benedict!!!I had a Togo order of scrambled veggies and wanted ham addedD E L I C I O U S. as ALWAYS!!YUMMY for YOUR TUMMY....Come and get it....
Haystack with gravy on the side is my new favorite breakfast!!!! absolutely delicious and appreciated the friendly staff!!! We definitely will be back!!! Their quality of sausage is the best I have had in a really long time!! They are doing everything right!!!!!
Always a great place to go for great food and great service
Excellent food experience is wonderful very friendly service Veronica makes you feel at home definitely coming back in the future huge portions. Love it!!!!!!!
Bacon... Consistently the best thick-cut bacon served anywhere I've been. Need I say more? If you love bacon (and who doesn't, really?) you will love McCrae's. Fast, friendly service is a plus, too!Did I mention the bacon? :)
Very nice place, server lady & sir was very polite. Ordered basic eggs & hashbrown. There was this lovely berry syrup on the table i used for my toast and was awesome. Portions were large which i don’t mind. Definitely will come again
Great food, service and value for your dollar.
I'm surprised with how many people are saying how good the food is for the price. The food here is very cheap quality and breakfasts are averagely $14 to $16. That to me is not cheap especially considering that the quality is pretty bad. Yes the portions are large, but the eggs are so cheap the yolks are almost colorless and they dont use real cheese, just processed. I ordered the country scramble and between the gravy and fake cheese it devolved into a scramble soup I couldn't stomach to finish. I've been to places making delicious food from scratch for those prices. There are cheaper diners with better food around this area. Service wise there was one very nice server, and one very weird server who was almost overly nice to the level of feeling fake, and making us feel uncomfortable like we were problem customers even though we didn't complain or ask for any weird substitutions or anything like that. I wouldn't go back.
The ham steak was big enough for a huge appetite! Down to earth place with good food.
Great little diner! Exceptional service! Enjoyed a PB&J with fries! Kid at heart 🤗
Nice customer service, big portions & great food. A must try if you like omlets and burgers...
A great breakfast spot. Fast service and your coffee cup is always full. The chicken fried steak breakfast is amazing!
Best food in town. Be warned, portions are huge! (Not like its a bad thing)
This cafe is a good old fashioned cafe, ambiance and all: a little grease, friendly staff, well seasoned furniture, coffee abundant, family friendly. It's not fancy, but its just right.
I am giving a 2-star review because the staff was polite and friendly. But sadly the food falls far short of being good. The sandwich they call a Philly was roast beef lunch meat with peppers and cheese on top...Not really what a Philly is. But okay! If that is their version it should be named roast beef with peppers and cheese. Don't lie and call it a Philly (which is thinly sliced steak grilled with peppers and onions). This was definitely not a Philly. Anyways, on to the breakfast. One slice of my French Toast was made with Texas Toast and one slice with normal bread?!... I was shaking my head at that. Okay! The food really just wasn't good, the menu was deceiving and it honestly was nothing better than school cafeteria food. My dog didn't want the other half of my husband's sandwich. That tells you something. 2 stars for being friendly. 0 stars on the food. This place used to be good years ago, maybe ownership has changed. Try Sweet Betties on Division. You won't be disappointed!
This is definitely my new go-to place for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good and service is excellent. 😋👍
We went for the first time. Food was good (amazing bacon) service was exceptional. Always filling up coffee never had to ask or wait for more. Prices are reasonable. Food quality is a lot better than other restaurants in the area. Probably a good idea to get rid of the carpet, but other than that it’s a great little place.
Down home food with generous portions. A classic diner feel with excellent breakfast choices. If you love gravy as much as I do, you'll love the food here.
Oh man such good homey food made from scratch, tastes so good and their portions are so big. Love it. The waiters/waitresses we've had are so very attentive and nice. Worth every penny.
Friendly staff and good food massive portions
